Questions on Automatic in Manual Mode
Does anybody run their transmission hard in the sport mode by maually running through the gears, winding the engine near red line etc? Is it bad for transmission? Can you really hurt anything...will it electronically limit the RPMS or force a shift? Just wondering as my wifes C300 has just passed 1000 miles and we have dutifully kept it in C mode at modest RPMS vs sport mode and manually running through the gears. Any thoughts appreciated.
