Help! Painting the Chrome on the Grille

does anyone know how to do it? is it just sanding or something else

There is a thread on painting the grill which tells you how to remove the chrome. Then it is just a matter of sanding the chrome off the plastic, prime and paint. Personnally if you are going for black I would (and did) use Trimebrights Black Out tape available in most auto parts stores.

thanks the only problem with the tape is i wouldn't be able to do the star in one piece.
