Finally Got My Car Back!
This is a follow up to my reply on the "Rear Brake Dust No More" thread. (Sorry, don't know how to copy and paste across threads).
Anyway, after a WEEK, got my ride back today. Dealer DID replace rear pads and updated the Command system. Music now attenuates lower as navi voice speaks (bout f*ing time). Brakes are a GREAT deal "grabbier". From my house to the Dealership is a 27 mile drive, plenty of of time and opportunity for brake dust build-up. I am HAPPY as HELL to report NO BRAKE DUST!!!!! I used my trip from my local hand car wash to my job (about 4.5 miles) as a control to gauge dust accumulation, which is quite noticeable for such a short drive. Really big improvement and although they kept my baby a WEEK (parts order), I must say, worth the wait. As for replacing my glove box iphone cable under warranty, they weren't EVEN trying to hear it. Guess I'll be outta bout $200.00 for that one. Sucks though. You pay $40+K for a brand new vehicle and they still wanna stick you for $200.00. On the flip side though, those of us who have been BLESSED enough to be able to afford a $40+K vehicle, especially in these current times, should not complain. My 2.

I couldnt agree more. I will find myself picking at the little things that I dislike about the C at times and will have to step back for a moment and think of the above.
