I changed my original winter Conti's with summer Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 and I may say they are excellent.
About using summer tires in winter you should imagine that the rubber of summer tires will get as stiff as hard plastic in sub zero temperatures so think about the low grip in winter.
If you live in Istanbul you definitely need winter tires, if you live in Izmir or other warmer area you may keep the summer tires but as I know you from this forum you will opt for safety.

Do not get Michelin PS2's if you are planning to drive even in light snow... the tires are not designed for that and the car will handle horribly. Find a good tire that has good overall handling in dry traction and snow traction. Use tirerack.com to see which tire is right for u.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I also have Michelins PS-2, great tyres!!!!
If there's a little snow/ice you dont have to worry, but if there's much snow you have to get a set winter tyres.
