Stopped in D
Good day
I took the MB for a 120 km leg stretch this morning on the open road, which is in contrast to the daily stop-start traffic, and with 1800 km on the odometer the engine is running well.
On the way home I stopped at the shop and turned the car off whilst still in D (the car was stationary). I then shifted it into P, started it again and then turned it off.
Is it possible to damage the car by accidentally switching the engine off whilst still in D.
Thanks
