We are having trouble with the driver side seatbelt in our C300 lately.
I ran into the problem again today. I tried everything include open and close the door, step and release the brake, drive the car, but the seatbelt was still stuck and I could not get it released. At the end, I pulled over, got out of the car and moved the seat back and forth and eventually the seatbelt was released.
Anyone has the same problem? thanks.

It's a safety issue if you don't have it on, not to mention a legal issue, but beyond that it's a guess what it is otherwise, other than irritating at times, and an excuse for a canned response.
Yep, it happens to me too, but it may be, in my case, just the fact that I'm on the smaller side in physical stature, so the belt isn't exactly positioned well when I reach for it because the seat's forward so much that I'm pulling at an angle just beyond the optimum. Experiment with the problem, see if there's anything that makes it better.
What I've found successful most of the time, is to grip the belt down low, pull up on it from the bottom up, or in other words, in reverse, and then pull down and out to feed the belt around your chest. Try it, see if this works for you.
Next time you're in for service, have them check it out, but I suspect it's as much simple physics as it is a design flaw or issue.
However, if you are talking about the belt latch not releasing AFTER you fastened it, then maybe just a little spritz of silicone spray on the belt "tongue" will work. If this is the problem, then it's a safety issue only if you are stuck in the seat and not wearing adult diapers

i have to agree with Distalero.
it happened to me once and it was aggravating to say the least, as i was pulling and tugging for a good few minutes. then suddenly, it just released..
