Brakes - ???
After a recent trip to a race track in Michigan, my new main complaint with the C300 specifically is the lack of proper brakes...after 4 turns they had already faded and the pedal was on the floor...
Anyone feel the same way - that the 300 is under-powered in terms of braking ability?
To that end, has anyone put ceramic pads on their car? i tried contacting porterfield but they dont make replacement pads yet..
I was also thinking about running some ducting to the rotor to force some air through from the vents on the front bumper...

went to gingerman raceway in south haven michigan - it's a 1.8 mile autocross circuit..
but, i dont think the lines are the problem, the pads just need to be upgraded...
i do agree that bumping up to the 350 rotors would make a tangible difference, but i dont have that kind of money unfortunately.
those ceramic porterfield pads that i used to run increased resistance on the rotor by 100% as compared to stock and increased the operating temperature range by about 500 degrees...
i just dont know of another company that makes pads like this that fits our cars...surely there has to be another one.
