Triangle Exclamation Mark

The little triangle exclamation mark lights up on my way to work, but there is no corresponding message I can see anyway on the dash, it drives normal.

Anyone could tell me what would cause it and where I can check the message on the dash?

Thanks
Jon

that is an ESP icon

is it constantly on? - ESP was turned off
flickered? - ESP kicked into action when one of your tires lost traction

All your dash lights will illuminate when you start your car...it is simply a test function. You really should only see the light flicker when you are accelerating hard, cornering hard or otherwise pushing your car hard enough to break traction.

That causes the whole instrument cluster to go red. Scared the hell out of me the first time it happened.
