Im not a huge fan of the led strips in the front bumper either. I think it looks much classier as part of the headlight assembly. Audi has it perfect.

The LED driving lights will be on ALL 2010 Mercedes vehicles with P2 or Lighting Package. We have a few 2010 C's, a whole lot of new E's and GL/ML's with these LED light bars. I also do not like them but a lot of customers do. The light bar, GLK style mirror housings (also changed on ALL Mercedes platforms) and wheel options are really the only difference between 2009 & 2010 C's

So what if the 2011's come with this crappy LED design, and you want the new features/engines from the 2011 model year but don't want the design? Does that mean you're screwed?
I mean personally i'm not an aftermarket-parts kind of guy and am not particularly hands on with my daily driver (being in college and not wanting to mess with it anyway), so if I wanted to get a 2011 but hate the LEDs is there a dealership/factory way to change it back to the 2010 style?

Dealer said target C sales are down due financial crisis,so facelift maybe present in Franfurt car show 2010 in exactly 3 and half years of first release.This also happened to BMW 3 series for first time too.
That facelift looks so cheap 
. I would be more than glad to show you a picture of this same facelift on my S550. It turns heads everywhere, specially when those LED's light up at night!
