hey guys,

I just purchase my 09 c300 4matic about 3 weeks ago. I noticed that "sometimes" when i turn my headlights on, one of my fogs just randomly turns on. I was thinking of bringing it to the dealer to get it checked out. But the thing is that it happens sometimes. Anyone else have this issue? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well if you have the P2 package, it come with cornering foglights, which mean when ever you make a turn or signal, one side of the foglight turn on toward the way you are turning, I Hope this is the case.

 

hmm I do have p2 package but it does that normally when not using signals

 

you don't have to be signalling in order for the fog lights to turn on when you're cornering.

If you don't like the fog lights to randomly turn on, just set the knob all the way to right and click up. This would make your fog lights stay on.

 

Click up? I don't know what this may mean but to turn on the fogs, you must have the parking or headlights on and then pull the knob out to the first stop. The second stop additionally lights the rear fog, driver's side only.
