Dash Code Query
Hi my fiancee just got a C200K 2008, the guys didn't reset the service notification, so I dug around and reset as per 4 button steering wheel. The notification has gone but have a few codes, was hoping you guys may know what they mean.
Its had two services, A, B
Cheers, also the car has done 30k, but according to the A and B service there has been no oil change, its a diesel, ive never had a diesel but should the oil be changed by now?

I cannot help you with the codes but you should speak to the dealership re the servicing & obtain the full service history in writing. What do your service books say? . Has the dealer filled them in & stamped it.
My 220CDI service book recommends an A service including an oil change & filter change every 25,000 Km or 12 months.
Service B every 50,000 km or 24 months.
For interests sake you could check how clean the oil is on inspecting the dip stick . It should be relatively clean if it has just been changed but will not take very long to be black .
Will be interested to know how you resolve the matter.

I've always hated the bmw dash... Just absolutely hated the orange lights.. IMO.. i think the MB dashes look very good.. along with the ones found on lexus..

This car apparently has the standard dash/instrument panel. We have an upgraded version in the US/Canada.
One way to get a lot of cars out there in ROW is to skimp a bit on the fancy stuff. Think taxis?

Going on all the complaints on this forum all the culled cars from the German & South African factories go to the USA.
