What kind of rim is that? I love the black with the star. I have the Artic white and I think it would look nicer with black shoes.

Here's a close-up of the headlight. I had one of the stock chrome ones in and one of the C63 and no comparison, the C63 looks much better, especially on the white car.

As for the tails, they were done by http://www.jonstintedtails.com/.
He does great work. I believe I went the the Medium-Light tint. A year later and they still look the same as the day I got them. My tails are the Euro-Spec LEDs, they turn signal flashes amber...at least on one of them but that's a long story.

What I mean by 'retrofit' is that I completely disassembled the C63 housing and the stock ones. I basically re-fit the stock electrical into the C63 housing. It was a little bit of a pain but I had no choice, the non-hid electrical of my C was not going to be even close to a plug & play. Even the pins on the vehicle's harness are much different. Basically, pulled the housing apart, ripped out all of the C63 electrical/hid components, took out all of the stock electrical components out of the stock housing and re-fit it all into the C63 one. Now, it's plug n play! Some will likely say why do it if in the end no HID, but I can tell you that the look was worth it to me 100%. Plus, I got the pair of the C63 lights for about $600, as opposed to the $1,200-$1,500each they sell for at the dealership.

My wheels are the optional Pulaha | 18" 5-twin-spoke wheel that are in the MB Accessories catalogue here in Canada. Not sure if they are available in the US but I love the wheels. Big upgrade over the multi-spoke 17s that come on the car, which are now my winter wheels.

In case others are thinking about using Jon's services... he's been doing this for many years now and is well known on the VAG forums. I've heard nothing but good things about his work.

so other than the darker tint, the headlights have the same look as the normal c300/c350 headlights... why not just tint or paint since it is much cheaper? looks great tho..

You are right, painting the interior of the housing would have been cheaper but the thing was, that I hadn't planned on taking it apart. I was just going to swap the headlights until I realized that that wasn't going to work. The interior is quite different though so the lights would have looked different had I just painted them. If I had spent $3K on them, I would not be pleased but since it was $600, I can live with that. Either way, I'm happy with the final product.

Any help or guide as to where I could get the same pair of lights for roughly the same price? Please PM me if it is not convenient to disclose. I have a Bi-Xenon on my car and it will be a direct swap with the C63 stock. Cheers!

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Looks really good. Where did you get the rear spolier? I am really starting to like the Brabus and Carlsson style spoilers. What are you doing with the remnants of your other headlights?

No idea where you'd find a deal on the C63 lights, just keep an eye out on ebay I guess.

As for the parts, I'm not sure, I just have them scattered around the office. I have the HID bulbs and some of the pieces. Might sell the bulbs I guess.

Oh, the spoiler is from mymercedes.com, 3-pc brabus replica. Fitment was very good and mounts with 2 people in about 5 minutes. It came pre-painted and was very good quality.

Ya, Jakuo is the guy that sells the grills on ebay, I recommend him highly!

As for the C63 headlights, just got lucky. Bought one from a guy on this forum and found the match on ebay.
