does the ipod amp help auxillary input volume even if U don't have the ipod adapter??

i am taking my car in and wonder if i can get them to install a factory ipod amp under warranty, because my aux input when i plug in my microsoft zune always seems to be playing at low volume, even with super high quality mp3s and a high quality cable...

would the ipod amp under the service bulletin help this issue?

Sweet two months later i get my first reply!!! Does anybody know??? Ill take a free aux input amp under warranty if it will boost my aux volume...

i use my auxillary which i just installed today and its loud as hell, then again i do have ipod integration and harmon and kardon

Won't work, it uses the proprietary plugs that the iPod integration module uses.
