go to home depot/lowes/OSH/whatever hardware store and buy a push pin puller for $3-4.

which ones work the best on the w204 AZN? the 80 degrees or the 30 degrees?

I just used a small common blade screwdriver to pop it out.

Those are the pin pliers. You don't need those. What you want is the forked/curved screw driver-type pin puller tool:



I got tired of finger nail splits and the danger of using a flat head screwdriver flying free and scratching the car, so got this for like $4-6 and made life much easier.
