220CDI Sport, Lower Mesh Grille ? DIY Replace

A rock on the motorway has smashed the a whole in the central mesh grille (under the number plate). The radiator behind looks fine.

I've bought a new one at the dealer, but can't work out how to replace it from the front.

Any help would be much appreciated by a newbie!

Thanks

Hello Steve, Take a look at this link. https://mbworld.org/forums/showth...t=grill+remove

Also put in "grill removal" in the search facility in the top RHS of page & you may find some info. Good luck.

Not too much on the lower grill removal.

Thanks, the searches seem to be mainly for replacing the top grille.
Lets hope someone has managed to get the lower one off without removing the bumper.
