Running REVERSE CAM wires under the door sills: Details Please?
Questions about running cable:
Do you need a super skinny low quality cable to fit underneath the sills because there is not much room to stash cables and have the sills still sit flush?
Are there special toolds required to pull off the sills or do you just give them a good yank vertically?
Once you run under the front sills, how do you complete the run cleanly and stay hidden to get under the rear sills???
Is it easier to go drivers side or passanger side sills from front to trunk of vehicle?
After exiting the rear sills, how do you get the cable up into the trunk liner cleanly and stay hidden???
Thanks in advance for anybody that has performed this Back-up CAM DIY that may be able to provide some very useful advice that was left off the initial DIYs...
just pull it straight up.as previously said, fold rear seat, and tuck it in there.
I looked at putting it under the carpet and door sills but after talking with MidCity their experience came in handy!
only tools needed is your hand and arm.
just pull it straight up.then fold the back seat, and run the wire through there. you will see how to run the wire as you work through it.
passenger side. much easier to wire from passenger side to navi.
as previously said, fold rear seat, and tuck it in there.

As for going the headliner route, how do you get the headliner off?? Just yank it downward and it pops out of the clips? did you need to pull the whole thing off or just the edge? did you go passangers side or drivers side? once at the rear of the vehicle, how did you exit the headliner and stay hidden? did you have to go through the rubber door seals and down through a crevice in the seat and into the back of the car?
It's super simple... open the rear door and remove part of the weather seal on the car side just below the headliner... just pull a little bit and you'll see where you can tuck the wire...
