I thought about white lips, but chrome lips gives it a classier look imo. Although just to play around with the look, I was going to have my vinyl guy vinyl the lips white or black with white pinstripe just to change things up now and then. It's 3-piece, so fairly easy to get the lips redone whenever I want, but little skeptical of white lips cause the front and rear lip is still not deep enough to pull off the look.
if you can vinyl it white... you might as well see how it looks... you might be surprised.
apart from interior...
whats next on your list of things to do?

They only had silver center caps, so have to wait few days to get the black centers, then will take pics.
Actually going to get new front two wheels cause they looked at it and plenty of spare room that I could get an extra 1.5-2 inches of lip, so milling me a new face.

imo... after the rim change... your car looks better then most if not all c300/350/63's they feature in magazines or online...
high praise... yes... but worth it imo...
also... removing the lower chrome strip would make the car looks more settled to the ground.

Actually, I'll be going lower once I get off my lazy *** and head over to the shop. Coilovers are few MM off from max low setting. Wanted to see how they sat on the new wheels before messing with height setting.
yeah, I need to get to that still. It's not as big a deal imo since it's a white car, but yeah, one of the many things on my todo list still to come.

People here seem to worry too much about sticking with the factory offsets *IMO*. I'd think that going with +40 or even +35 would be fine since those values are much less then 1" out compared to stock.
I am still in the process of deciding on which wheels to run...
ps another kudo to you and the car; mean enough while keeping it classy...

Gonna keep it chrome for now, but gonna hit up my vinyl guy to test out some different looks (white lip, black lip with white pinstripe, CF Lip, etc).
