white and whiter
they're decent cheap tires.
I bought'em for my sis' 208 CLK. nexen N7000 225/45/17 all around. pretty quiet and decent performance, but not that great once you push them hard since N7000 are all-season. you'd probably do better with N3000 or N1000.

I had Nexen N3000's on my 1999 Porsche Boxster when I bought it. When it came time to replace the tires, I stayed with the Nexen's since I was so pleased with their performace. Tires were great for daily driving, autocrossing, and a trip to the Tail of the Dragon. Keep in mind, I was able to pick up a complete set for $400. They are not as good as Pirelli PZero's, but for half the price I wouldn't expect them to be.

I just picked up some 225 40 18 Nexen Winguard sport winter tires. They look pretty good. Looking forward to playing in the snow.
