Night Vision on W204

Hey all---I recently met a great MB tech who runs his own performance business in Cary and he does a lot of aftermarket stuff.

Has anyone seen the Night Vision available on the S and E class done aftermarket on the C class? I realize its a gimmick feature but i think it would look awesome through our retractable display.

I'm thinking of adding that, backup camera (2009 C350), and undercarriage LED's like the Brabus setup.

I am thinking the same thing. I have just been waiting to get the proper fakra cable of a 90 degree SMB (Fakra without the plastic connector portion) for the back-up camera and parts list for the NV. Hopefully someone responds and lets us know what might have to done to get night vision.

Night vision needs IR bulbs at headlights to work well, it should be difficult to retrofit those to a C-class. But you would get a reasonable view without the IR bulbs, something similar you get from an S-class when it is stationary (and does not light up the IR bulbs).

Otherwise it should be just the IR camera at the windscreen. But is there any free slot for the IR camera on a W204 windscreen? Perhaps the area next to the rear view mirror.
