Why does everyone ask me to part out exhaust tips?

Why does everyone ask me to part out exhaust tips?
Seriously now I'm getting a little tired of people asking me to part out my exhaust tips. Why can't you guys just buy them from ebay or go to the dealership and buy 2 more oem tips? There are stickies that give you part numbers and a example for the exhaust shop to weld up.

I'm not trying to be @66hole or anything. I'm just getting tired of people pming me if I will part out my exhaust tips from my quad exhaust system.

The dealer sells OEM AMG exhaust tips? I haven't heard that they do, which is why most people ask for the tips to be sold separately. They don't really gain much with the full exhaust system, plus its expensive to ship. Most go the cheaper route and do a piggy back quad.

Just my .02. Sorry for your frustration.

Nah the dealer sell oem tips that come on the C300/350 that looks kinda the same as amg tips. but still after all of that you are spending about 500 bucks depending on exhaust shop. I'm only asking 600 for my mufflers plus their stock ones. which is a steal.

For the amount of work needed to get tips on and mufflers with labor what Got Thang is asking for in the full set of mufflers is a decent price. You'll buy it, go to a muffler shop, simple weld on and adjustment. Put on the diffusor. Done.

I'm tempted, but have to see what comes about our new work contract within the next two weeks.

wait so i don't get it, you are selling both of your mufflers and the quad tips? Will I gain HP if i install your mufflers on my car instead of my OEM ones?

Yeah it's mostly looks, but on my exhaust you will get a tone change from stock mufflers. Which sounds much better.
