2008 C300 Satellite Radio
I recently purchased a used 2008 C300. I thought that the vehicle was loaded, but to my surprise it does not have satellite radio. Has anyone had an aftermarket satellite radio installed on their vehicle? Where in the vehicle did you have it installed in the vehicle? Any pictures would help.
Thanks.
Thanks.

the question to be answered is it really loaded?
take a picture of the dash... or better yet do you have heated seats? If you do you should have sat radio... if you don't then you don't... its part of the p1 or p2 package
I don't remember any after market satellite radio installs on here.... but you never know

YES YOU DO. LOL.
It could be that your satellite radio isn't subscribed yet. You know it's not free. You could get a year free, but you do still need to subscribe it.
SAT radio is awesome. I always listen to it.

OK,
"The question to be answered is it really loaded" does not help. It was a simple question. I already know that I DO NOT have satellite radio. The question was, Has anyone added a aftermarket satellite radio. My guess is it is possible. I would like to hear from the people who have done it, if anyone has.

leprechaun73,
1) Easiest installation you can do yourself is if you already have an auxillary input in your dash - all you need is a simple sat radio module and a subscription, and you just plug that module into the aux input (you can stick the module to the dash/window like navi).
2) But I think other people were suggesting you might have the hardware capability but not the subscription? If that is the case, all you'd need is to call Sirius and activate it. If not - see option 1)
