2007/2008
All of the first W204's sold in the US were designated 2008's even though deliveries began in mid-2007. My 2008 was built in September for October delivery even though I ordered it in January 2007. Cars without MM began showing up in July.
In the past, the German manufacturers took August off as vacation while the factories were configured for the next year's models for which production began September 1.
That's been gone for a long time now and model years vs calendar year don't coincide anymore.
This illustrates my point of a long time back that where a poster lives can be important. Tambo didn't do this.
