Great rims...looks nice...gives me something to think about.

Noob question here....with the new rims did you need new TPMS, or is that only when you use different tires...

Wow... had no idea the 17"s were available.

Nice find! Excellent setup for those who don't want to size up to the 18"/19" wheels.

More pics would be nice to show off the offsets, etc?

Thanks the TPMS were simply switched out from the old OEM wheels to the new ones. One fyi though it seems that the mechanics had a tough time taking them out due to crude and whatnot this also happened to my valve stems when i went into a MB dealer so be careful with these not breaking since new TPMS are like $100 apiece Thank God the guys were careful and didn't break any of the TPMS !!

Thanks Rick It's a great way of getting stylish wheels without the pain of getting new tires ! FYI ... even with 25K miles on my tires i was told i still had a good 10K to 15K available on them. I'll try get more pics this week and will post .... perhaps some from the rear view ?? Ohhh i believe when i bought the wheels i remember the fellow telling me the offsets were 44 if that helps? Thanks again !

I wish you best of luck with the ny/nj roads. Everytime I wack holes i don't see, I'm feeling for my wheels and want to myself for not avoiding it.
OMG i just got off the George Washington Bridge today and in the Bronx on I95 when i went right over a decent sized pothole F**k i said to myself just my luck uughhhh but thank God when i got to my parents in LI and checked the front passenger wheel everything was okay Whhewwwwww good to know that the new wheels could take a smack like that since no matter what we do to avoid these potholes once in awhile one just can't react fast enough and BANG !! I lucked out today yay

It looks as if you have loads of mods already but if you still have the OEM 17" wheels i say go ahead and pull the trigger already and get new wheels i've been undecided for 2 years and am so so happy that i finally got these. Life's too short why not enjoy

I know eh, but rims are such an expensive mod! lol But I think I will end up getting them very soon. I need to pull the trigger on them as I kept putting it off for over a year now. Grr I might get 18's though, I'm still undecided. Reason being is that I might need to get new tires soon anyways. Hmm But for sure not 19s tho cause then the ride feel will go down. lol And plus bigger is always better haha

solution: wait till you need to get tires and then get 18 or 19" all together.

It was quite easy taking the chrome strips off ....use goo gone and fishing line and you're done 15 minutes tops ! The clear signals i got from ebay ... theres like half a dozen sellers for that one item and the last question i have no clue where i said anything about having a K&N sorry

I honestly cant tell the difference regarding the ride from oem 17s to these so i'm very happy with that and i believe what thompsonrobert was referring to when asking about the chrome strip was the strips on the lower panels of our doors.

right now i am still in search for a shop. I am just working so many hours i barely have no time to go out and search. I will soon or later but if i get it done i will post pics on the board. I have an extra CF lip lying around if you want it is still brand new from DCT Motorsports.

i do a little OT but the extra one was sent to me as another one for a backup. (I guess) It's new still in the box with no problems at all. I think it is the best looking lip out there. =)

Sorry i didnt even notice that the 18" were without the AMG since i was basically trying my best to stay with the same OEM tires that i have now thus stuck with the 17"
