Performance parts c300?

I have an 08 c300 sports 4matic. I have been looking for some performance upgrades like CAI and tunes/chips but haven't had much luck. I've been searching all throughout the forum and have only found the sprint booster, but it's kinda pricey for what it is. Soo whats out there as far as chips/tuning is concerned?

I found this CAI on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...ht_2966wt_1065

But it looks like I can go to my local auto parts store buy some intake tubing and some nice K&N open air filters for under $100 and make one my self. Any ideas? I'm not looking for any ridiculous gains but something to liven up the car a bit, it's getting boring now after a year of ownership

TIA

We already have ram air so not sure this would produce any notable gains.

I think the stock C already has CAI, but this still looks neat.

If you want to eek out some extra power, consider getting an ECU tune and a set of headers from RENNtech (available now) or Kleemann (available Q1-Q2 of '10). They both advertise their kits at 40HP for $4000 USD. Not cheap, but that's about all there seems to be to gain out of our engines.

I recomend an ecu tune.. 3sautosports does an ecu tine fpr 550$ u get 20 horsepower for the c300! As for that intake our stock intakes are already well designed, I would call it ram air, more than cai.. But I recently purchased a short intake with cone filters, no power gains but it looks good for car shows! Its not drawing hot hair cuz the filters are complelty covered with a cone sheild! Pm me for pictures... Its called b&b intake
