LOL!.. hahahah

to me, they look cool when i look at my car in the other car's reflection .. they kinda illuminate the corners, and when you leave the eyebrow and the fogs only.. they attract the attention in illuminated parking areas... but there's not a huge advantage having them on... HID's and HI beams do the work

Still, i do turn them on

Climate conditions vary worldwide....we need fog lights, with a low-angle, wide-disbursing beam pattern. If they are not fogs, and are just for decoration, I'm out.

Yea I got what ya mean. Just that in Brunei, fogs are more like for decoration. Never tried driving with the fogs on when its raining though.

Fogs are also very good in a heavy snowfall. The light from headlamps "bounces" back off falling snowflakes and creates a glare, while the fogs undercut that level to light up the road.

Fog? fug

You are right. They cannot serve as fogs because there is no beam control by lens pattern. Just LED DRLs. And the fogs will be gone.

I would probably use them more after I change the bulbs. Still debating between crystal and diamond vision.

We used the OEM W212 LED, if the capacity is questioned, then so can be the Mercedes W212 design. We know climate condition varies around the world so people shall make their own decision whether they shall make this cosmetic modification or not!

I don't think we need to question Mercedes Benz light capacity.

I think we need to question why DCT would take what Mercedes describes as "Daytime Running Lights" on their E Class web site (I just checked) and offer them for sale as "Fog Lights". Honest error, I hope?

P.S. E Class puts fogs into headlamp assembly, so no function lost overall.

Don't like the hockey sticks on the W212 so I know I won't like them on the W204. I'm out hope the guys who buy them like them.

Great job Ivan. If it's anything like the other DCT parts, I'm sure it'll be a quality product.

That said, I wish you guys can come up with something more along the lines of:

or even the new e63:

Or even quad fog assembly would be great.
