Trunk Spoiler Installation
I received my 3 pieces Brabus Spoiler from JBspeed today.
I live in NY and it's like 40 degrees here right now. No heated Garage so the question is, is it okay to install the spoiler now or wait till it get to what temp?
I am thinking of putting a portable heater in the garage and run it for 48 hours but it's not cost efficient lol.
BTW i am using 3M Double sided tape instead of Glue, does the weather really matter if i am using a 3M tape? or a warm weather only advisable if you use a Glue for curing reason?
Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
TIA.

I think the 3m tape is fine for all weather season, otherwise why would factory use it. I install mines in the garage with the garage up and it was cold, not sure about 40 degress cold but, once installed I just made sure I didnt let it get wet or let it cure for a day or so.

I got the AMG spoiler from JBSpeed and my customizing shop strongly advised using a bead of urethane as well and letting it set indoors (I would guess 60 degrees minimum) for 24 hours before driving. It's now as solid as a rock.

I installed it in 60-degree weather with a healthy amount of 3M Exterior tape. For the first few nights, I put blue painter's tape to kind of push it on just in case. It's been solid as a rock since. I can't even budge it.

My trunk spoiler and roof spoiler are both held on by 3M double sided tape. For some reason the corners begin to peel off over time . . this is the second time around now so I'll have to redo everything once the weather gets warmer.
