Happy Holidays!

Does anyone know if there is a way to light up the digital display on the climate contol if it is in "auto" mode? This may seem like a silly question but I love the way the display looks when it's on. On my old SAAB 9-5 I was able to default the screen to on in auto mode by holding a certian button for a few seconds (can't remember which one).

I've checked the owners manual but came up with nothing. Are there any secrets I am missing?
