Blue effect

In my fogs I have the DDM Tuning 55W 4500K HID's and surprisingly they are blue around the edges. I guess the extra power from the 55W vs. the 35W is what causes that. I was trying to match the stock 4300K and ended up being more blue than I wanted and now the stock HID's look yellow...haha.

If for some reason you decide to go with HID's I would suggest DDM Tuning. And if you feel like trading I am in the market for the Philips CrystalVision ultra's myself (for my fogs and possibly my high beams). I would trade you my 55W 4500K HID kit and even include the error cancelers with it for your CrystalVisions.

Also, a lot of the LED's cause the blue effect that you are going for, so I would also check out DDM Tuning, I think they started to carry LED's as well.

I'm running an Apexcone slim kit. No error codes.

This one won't if you use the error canceler that plugs right in to it.

I needed the error cancelers for the DDM kit for my fogs and I'm not sure what to recommend on the 35 or 55W...

55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output( for example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit).
Our 55w HID Kit is not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area.<<<<thats strait from the site, so i think i might go with the 35w 8000k so i can get that nice blue color.

you should probably use the 5w5 bulb that i have listed in the thread. And if your looking for a bluer color probably any hid kit 8000k or 10000k depending on how blue you wanna go. I persoally like the blue effect its pretty sick

Yeh i was actually wondering the same thing. So basically it gives out better light output and color, If you use 35w vs. 55w? I want to have 8k lo's and fog's and would like to know what to use. Thank yOU
