Oil Guzzler??

Hey guys! i hope everyone is safe this winter with their C!
I swear my car is a Oil guzzler not a gas guzzler ... so.. My C350 has 6000k on it since I bought it mid september and my oil has gone to the low levels of the dipstick twice already! I put oil in there to refill it the first time, and the second time I took it to the dealer... and they said just put a quart in IT, and their explanation was that it is "cold" and it's a new car so it burns more oil for now.... sounds kinda fishy to me.. anyone have the same issue or more info on it?

thanks in advance!

Sounds like your engine didn't break in properly, but you might still have hope. Some cars don't break in properly until 10,000 miles. Try getting heavy on the pedal more often, just make sure your engine temperature stays stable and doesn't start overheating.
