Anyone know anything about this for the C300 / C350 :

Not familar with them, but I am considering Powerchip. (www.powerchipgroup.com) I spoke to them today and since they are in the SoCal area I would be able to drive down and have them do the mod while I wait. 2 week trial money back guarantee. I am very tempted. They sounded pretty solid.

Getting it for $$620 w/ MB World discount and they will take me back to stock and return my money if I am not satisfied. The numbers are less important to me than making the care feel smoother and stronger. If this mod accomplishes that then I am satisfied. Others here and diff forums seem to have felt it was a good mod on there ride.

Thanks Joe - the fact that they are local ( outside of Chicago ) is a benefit as well. Please report back with your thoughts on the tuning, can't wait to hear the results on a c300 !

Will a reflash have any effect of the notorious MB throttle lag?
I just saw they have a shop in Buckhead...I would be much more likely to do something if I can go down and actually see the place and have it done all at once.

The guys from Powerchip say that it will increase MPG by 1-2 mpg. If that is true in the 3 years of my lease the cost of the chip will almost break break even. They also said that it will greatly help the throttle response. My car has the dynamic handling package. This has "sport" button that changes the shifting pattern and make the car more responsive anyway. I always drive in that mode. Not sure how it compares to the M/S button. I have a appointment at Powerchip on Monday.
