I just bought wheels the other day but tire thread in the rears are really worn out, Is it possible to run 265-30-19 on rears? Right now there 255-30-19. Someone please help. Thank you.

ShaiMalka,

I had to read this thread again, to understand your question. yes, 265/30-19 will fit on a 19x9.5 rim. The real issue is can you mount it without having any clearance issues, like rubbing. That is the real question, am I right?

For stock height(sport, not luxury), running 265/30/19's will NOT rub in any circumstance. Never have had my Vredestein 265/30/19's rub in the rear ever.

For lowered height, you may want to be careful. The general consensus in the past has been that the rear rubs just a bit under load. There have been people that say that there is no rub under 2 passenger rear loads, but there are others who say they have. Both are SuperSports lowered. Less aggressive drops, may be a good thing for clearance though.

all depends if your car is lowered and having those 265/r19/30 19x9.5 will rub. mine rub on 255/30/r19 19x9.5 and my car is running with D2 coilovers.

I actually am running 275/30/19 on a 9.5" rim and HR Sports. Only rubs a little on corners with 4 people in the car! You also have to consider the offset of the rim, mine were refit 3 times to get the perfect offset. Also the tire makes a difference, some tires have slightly different shaped side walls and the tire dimensions do vary slightly. Good luck!!!
