I popped the hood open and the smoke seemed to be coming from the fan in the front, should i worry? By the way i drive a 2008 c350. thanks in advance

smoke or steam? You may have just hit a huge puddle and it is steam hitting the hot metal.

I'm sure it's steam. Water+heat of a combustion engine=steam. I'm sure it's fine. Although you might wanna watch how much water you get in your engine when you hit puddles. I remember reading a thread not to long ago about people's W204's becoming KILLED(engine=dead forever) in blatant terms by rainwater getting inside the engine or something. A flaw in design; a ridiculously low chance of it happening to you; but it could still happen.
