Widest rear tires for OEM sport 18's

I need to replace the tires on my C350 Sport with the AMG 18's. Wondering what the widest tire is that I can run on the rear. I was thinking about a 265/35 R18 or possibly even a 275/30 R18, but Im not sure if that is even possible. Probably staying with a 225/40 in the front.

265 will be max and slushy.

I'd go 255 and drop a series. I also hate that these rims have such crappy offset. They almost need spacers.

Are you running a wider tire in the rear than stock? I still have POS Continentals that came on it in a 255 and there seem the be plenty of room to jump up to a 265. But I could be wrong. I just cant wait to get rid of these Continentals. Worst tire I have ever dealt with on any vehicle I have ever owned. I cant believe Mercedes would even sell the car with these tires

Are you thinking 255/30 R18 then?

your OEM rear is 8.5" width. widest recommended would be 255.
