HID Help. 35w or 55w + error canceller
Hi guys,
I've searched for this but haven't found a clear answer so you're advice and expertise would be much appreciated.
I am going to purchase HID kits for both my low-beam headlights and also the foglights from DDM and wanted to make sure I'm getting the right things.
General questions
-is there a performance difference between the regular sized ballasts and the slim ones?
-if no performance difference, is it worth it to get the slim ones?
Heallights
-which to get, 35w or 55w? and why?
-do you need to get error cancellers for both 35w and 55w?
Foglights
-again, which to get, 35w or 55w? and why?
-do you need error cancellers for either of the kits or will fogs work fine without them?
Thanks guys.

To answer questions
1. There isn't a performance difference between the ballasts, one's just smaller.
2. For lows, I'd go with 55w for the added output
3. You need error cancelers no matter what (for our cars)
4. For fogs I'd get 35w because light output isn't essential for fogs.

Thanks for the reply.
-for the bigger ballasts, will it be harder to find a place to fit them?
-also, if i were to do 55w for the fogs, will it get too hot in there?
Thanks.

And I can't vouch for the fogs getting too hot, but honestly I'd just get 35w fogs that match the 55w lows.

merecedes c200k 2009
My MB bought here in Dominicana Republic does not need error canceller. I can install any Xenon Kit, 55w or 35W without erros in the computers. I have a c200K 2009. Maybe the software in the car is programmed diferent than in the States. As the way i see it, they do that ins USA to force people to buy the expensive package with HID.
