Sluggish Acceleration

For months my car has not responded very well. At 60 mph if I punch it the car will not react for about 3 seconds. I went to the dealer today and had an engine and tranny ECU update and WOW!!!!! It runs better than new!!!!!!!

I don't normally floor the car. I figured over time the car would relearn but I was wrong.

Did the car respond normally in all situations other than full throttle? Was it more of an engine or transmission problem?

yeah ecu reset by the dealer is very likely.
see if the car feels any different 500km after it came back from the dealer. if it is then its definitely a reset.
