Grill ideas...messing around with PS...What do you guys think?
So the center star on my C63 grill fell off yesterday while I was driving. When to the dealer today to buy a replacement but of course the factory star doesn't fit my grill. So I'm gonna have to buy a whole new grill. Was playing around on Photoshop of some ideas I had...what do you guys think?
Regular sport grill in black w/ bottom chrome strip covered with black vinyl. I like this one but I'm not sure if it look weird because the other 2 chrome strips aren't centered.
Stock sport grill with everything black and the floating chrome star...
Option 3: decided I didn't like it as much so I took it out
Or should I just go with a regular Sport grill in black w/ chrome strips or a regular C63 grill like I had (see sig)
*1st 2 pics are of a members car I took from the picture thread...please don't sue me for copyright violation lol

Thanks guys...looks like I'm gonna go with some version of the sports grill...either all black or black with chrome strips

I think the all black looks a little strange. Something about the "floating" star just doesn't quite look right IMHO. The asymmetry of the two horizontal chrome strips on #1 looks fine to me especially given the fact that it will most often be viewed from above.

Yea I hear what ur saying. I'm gonna go with the black and chrome sport grill...at least that way I can play around with it by adding or removing black vinyl from the chrome strips.

While I'm waiting for the black sport grill to get delivered (gonna be a while since it's coming from an EBay seller in Canada) I decided that I wasn't going to drive around with a chrome grill w/ the star missing. So I pulled off my C63 grill and pulled off all the chrome trim...and it actually doesn't look THAT bad....at least it doesn't look like it's missing a tooth lol
