Tuning C300 AMG. Look professional!

All greetings!:) Recently, my wife took the C300 4matic 2010 (photo below), in this connection, I would ask the forum participants as you think should look unmatched C300? I will be glad to consider all offers! :y

P.s. A few questions: :
1) I will install OEM AMG Quad exhaust, whether I understood (from the forum) that I needed to do the following details:
a) Muffers
204-490-35-21
204-490-36-21
Diffusier
204-885-45-25
Clips
204-885-23-14
204-885-24-14

And if the book Muffers, then the Tips will come in the kit?:nix:

2) I also want to steering wheel of the AMG version of the set.

3) Summer wheels will be Russian forging Vindeta (monocoque).

4) I am also interested in the front bumper on the version of C63, if possible I will be grateful for the number of parts required for rework (bumper with steering wheel and Parktronic).

5) The black roof, what are my options? (Lucas no) :nix:

Everyone thank you very much for the feedback! Respect!</SPAN>

I'm pretty sure no one is answering because there's a thread for everything you want to know in the forums if you just look.

jctevere 03-22-2010 12:13 PM

There is also an easier way to do the quad exhaust setup... Keep c300 mufflers and just order oem slk roadster quad tips + c63 diffuser = Quad! (Everything fits). Options for black roof, unless you ordered panoramic, you can either do a black vinyl rap of the hood (less permanent as you can take it off) or simply have it painted black (more permanent and volatile).

I hope your not going to keep the summer rims/tires on the car during winter... Won't work out too well even if you have 4matic.

Have you ever considered that this is a predominately US forum and you are posting in the middle of the night when everybody is sleeping.:slap:

New issue! :)

Steering wheel with version C63 AMG + airbag stand by our official dealer ~ $ 3000:eek:, but today I saw the E350 Coupe, which is made based on the C-class, and so it has steering wheel a much more sporting profile than the standard on the C-class, so I question whether such a suit rim to our C-Class?

That VIN E350 coupe: WDD2073561F007304

Also, more sporty, almost as an AMG steering wheel on the E 200 AMG, so its VIN WDD2120481A198900.

I think the replacement of the steering wheel, if it is possible mozhdeley hundred of those will be the most budget option! Help, who knows, for compatibility?</SPAN>

You may want to contact this guy as he does a lot of conversions.

There was a company in Sweden that was selling OEM C63 steering wheels on ebay for around $1200 US which includes the airbag which you will need. I haven't seen them posted in a while though.

Check post # 9 about what other steering wheels will fit. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...heel-w204.html

I am going to retract the slk statement as it is almost impossible to find those parts and it is not really abundant. A better route is to go for the e55 amg quad exhaust tips. Body style is W211 and there is much more aftermarket and OEM selection available as it is a very popular car. Here are some quad tips one Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...4#ht_720wt_941

I dunno if these are OEM or not, but they are stainless steel, so I guess it is. And I am pretty sure that there is only a bit of welding involved, should be pretty much plug and play with w204. Maybe some other people can support me? I also don't know the part number... Sorry.

Sportstick 03-22-2010 05:22 PM

I think this is the best deal on steering wheels.

http://www.performanceproducts4benz....6&dept_id=6312

New rim...use your original air bag again. Looks like C63, thick rim, great grips, flat bottom, but same diameter as original wheel. Installation took about 5 minutes. Much less expensive than buying a new air bag to fit slightly smaller hub.

They also make a 4 spoke design for Luxury models.

alan111 03-22-2010 10:28 PM

Wait, did you guys check out his lower bumper LED strip? I want those instead of my fogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah....that was the first thing my eye went to. Like them a lot.

Also noticed that the roof doesn't have a sunroof. I guess I assumed that they all came with a sunroof.

OP...sorry I can't help with your modifications. I tend to like to keep everything original equipment as possible. Only exception is that the base wheels could use some improving.

Best of luck with your new car.:y

Hi fellow,
If you want to change front bumper, you will need to change front fenders as well..... and then your front wheels will looks to much inside, so you will need to install some kind of baffle fins(проставки) in front to make its looks correct.

There are no other translations - It is a proverb

In more than one program, it translates as:

"Easily, you will not take out small fish of the pond", but would probably be said as "You cannot easily catch the small fish in a pond"

So, I assume this is a Russian colloquial expression, meaning that it's easy to find the so-called "big fish", but it takes more effort to go after "small fish", as a simile for the work involved in getting into the details of any task? This seems similar to the North American expressions about how easy it is to go after "low hanging fruit", or that the "devil is in the details".
