OEM Rear Diffuser Removal Help!
So I'm reading up on some of the DIY's for the C63 diffuser install, and it sounds like removing the stock rear diffuser is really simple. Well I'm stuck. So far, I've removed the two 10mm hex screws on either side, but I can't seem to get any of those damn tabs to let go to remove the bumper. Anyone who's taken the stock one off, am I missing any screws or is there a certain way I need to pull or push the tabs or diffuser to get it out? I've tried pulling down and out to no avail and I even opened up the tow hook opening to get at a tab and I couldn't get it to budge. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry! I would like to help, but I did not do the remove/install when I had the new diffuser installed...took it to the shop and it took two guys to put on the new one.

Got it figured out, thanks tanktube! I found a different DIY that showed those two torx 20 screws, but the instructions were vague so I wasn't sure if they needed to be removed or not. I have the Remus exhaust installed, so there is little to no room to work in there, managed to get it out with a small ratchet, 1/4" socket, and a torx 20 bit.

No, I was going to wrap the OEM diffuser with 3M Ni-Doc CF material. Didn't work out and I got a lot of left over CF. I did my side mirrors with them, but I still have a bunch left. If anyone can use it, let me know. I really want to get the Euroteck CF rear diffuser, but I can't justify the $600+ price they want for it. I'll have to wait until the price goes down before I do this mod.
