Service 1/A too soon?
The C300 we just bought has about 24K miles right now. According to dealer maintenance records, Service 2/B was performed 500 miles ago, on 1/25/2010. Yet, the ASSYST says next service (1/A) is due in 180 days which would make it about 10/1/2010.
This car is on 1year/13k miles service interval, so why does the ASSYST not agree with this?

It shouldn't. But, are you sure that they reset the service indicator at the B service. It is possible that he/she drove alot and got the A service done in 10/2009 and then the B service on 1/25 at an INDY and they never reset the indicator?

Service A (first oil change) was done on 10/24/2008 at 12k miles.
Then nothing was done until the lease was returned and the car got certified which was on 1/25/2010 at 23.5k miles, which I am assuming was Service B.
If they didn't reset the indicator on 1/25/2010, then it would be telling me that I am way overdue for Service B right now. Instead, it is telling me that I am 150 days away from Service A.
