Great Tires, Reasonable Price
I need a new set of tires, I don't know a whole lot about brands and quality so I was hoping to get some recommendation for a good set of tires for a reasonable price. - Thanks in advance for the help.

go to www.tirerack.com and read up on some comparison tests and user reviews.
For starters, if you want any feedback here, you should tell people what your expectations/priorities are: long wear? comfort? good dry grip? wet grip? snow grip? steering response? low noise? low rolling resistance? etc...
What is your definition of "reasonable price"?

I agree with Pete. I do know that General UHPs are stooopid cheap and they aren't bad. I had a set once. They are a little less noisy than the stock 18" Contis and ride quite nicely.

I also have General UHPs and they are a great price, the are comfortable, and performance is ok too. I get about 15000 miles out of my 19".

HHmmmm ...... with my C at a little more than 30000 miles on the original Michelin Pilot's I'll need to remember this particular set as a very good option as replacements for my car. Funny too how they're about $100 less than my oem tires on the tirerack website
Ohh the Pilot's also has the lowest rating of all the tires available for the C at 5.9

Seriously, the General UHPs are great for the price. They would be at the top of my list at higher price. My winter tires are Generals too. They are amazing in the snow and ice.

Another vote for the UHP's. Had them on my previous car, including some track days, and just put 19s on last weekend. Can't beat them in terms of bang-for-the-buck. I don't drive *****-out, 8/10ths on the street anyhoo.
General is a subsidiary of Conti North America, BTW...
