New comer on wagon
Hi, all! Heard and been to this site many times, and only now decided to register. Although I am Benz fan from very top to very bottom, "sick with MB" as my wife says.
To be frank, I've never had something, only Mercedes. Thanks dad, first car was S210 E320 1997 Lorinser, then CL140 420 1998, then used dad's W140 S500 1994. Now I have my first new MB ever. This is S204 230 with AMG pack. I like it very much and it brings light to every day life each morning I drive to work. Here it is

Welcome to the forums, and is that Palladium Silver?
If not it sure looks pretty darn close to it. I'm very neutral with the wagon concept, but damn 792 makes everything look gorgeous.

Great looking wagon! Unfortunately there's not as much appreciation for wagons here in the states as there is in europe where the design is loved. Very clean looking regardless

Yes, it is Palladium Silver, i got this color by chance. Wanted nice wagon and one of the Moscow dealers proposed this variant from Finland stock, so agreed, no regret, although i have ideas to make it mat, or even white mat with vynil. Agree that wagons are not popular in US, but in Russia as well. Btw i am flying to US next week.

I like design and moreover it is useful for me (family with small son). PS. Yours at the bottom is very nice, 18th AMG wheels? I dream of 19th from C63 those with many spikes.

That's why I asked. Seems like other countries get different little items at different times.
SUVs and minivans are the preferred modes of transport for soccer moms in the U.S. You rarely see wagons. I hope the new CTS helps to change that. I think the Crosstour, ZDX, X6-style vehicles will catch on here. I hope Audi allows us to have the A5 Sportback.

I don't know, but saw in Moscow latter wagons with mirrors like on Vic's Viper photo. US people have special likes to cars, which i very often like, more than Russian style. I, for example like a lot of cars which 25 old guys wouldn't ever choose - Viano, F250 etc. Everybody has its own understanding. I don't why, but I adore wagons. If i could, I would buy C63 wagon, or S124 E36 old classics.
