Anyone get that message yet?

 

No, I like to check my oil level on the dip stick on a monthly basis.

My 220cdi used oil for the first 10,000 km then very little thereafter.

 

Just add some oil. Dealer probably didn't put enough oil in

 

Yeah, I got it at 7,000 miles. If you check your levels you will see you need to add a quart.

 

I got the same thing around that time too.

 

You guys are worrying me a bit... I never check my engine oil level or anything except washer fluid. Now that I am at about 10,000 miles, I need my first oil change, I hope I didn't neglect anything, I never got any warning messages on anything...

 

If you never got a message you didn't need oil. Nothing to worry about, and apparently no need to check your oil as the car will tell you when it's low. Just don't neglect that message once it comes on!
