oh and the battery is located on the passenger side under the cover for the blower motor. there are 3 tabs that hold it in place, the center one tends to get stuck at times so dont force it. i hope that helps you if you have any problems pm me.

Caution, don't lock the doors prior to disconnect as you will have a hard time opening them with the key (your fob will not work) and there is a specific procedure how to unlock car with no battery working (insert key, handle up .. turn right handle down ...)not sure what are exact steps but friend run into this issue, otherwise no issues

Was going to install my c63 steering wheel today but heard nothing about possible battery disconnect issues in the DIY I read..
Anybody have any insight about this?
thanks in advance!

By holding the button for opening them and keep holding it for a few seconds once they are open and doing the same when closing.
In addition the steering wheel sensor might have to be retaught as well, by turning the wheel from lock to lock a few times.
