New bumper covers still have to be painted, you know.

Find out who your dealer sends cars to, go there and get a real estimate.

$800 to paint a bumper is craazzyy! my brother just got his front bumper on his expedition repaired and repainted, cuz it was dented and paint started to crack.. my body shop guy charged him $350.. without any connections it shouldnt cost you more than $500 tops to repaint a bumper

Yikes, sorry to hear that. I'm not too sure about the price, but I see that others are chiming in on that. You could just order the parts new if the price is right, and maybe get a new diffuser too perhaps? JL-Motoring finally has a non-quad-exhaust CF diffuser like the one ETKMS has. http://www.jl-motoring.com/product_p/mbdi0403.htm. Not sure about quality, fitment, or price, seeing as they didn't post anything, but I think people like FrankW have had good luck with this vendor. Anywhoo, I hope you get your bumper fixed!

Another round of ICE
Some minor fascia damages can be repaired, but beyond that, replacement is required. Just the refinishing of an existing fascia is approximately $400, so if they are installing a new fascia and the part price makes the math work, you have a reasonable deal.

+1 RLE FTW

Your best bet is to find an authorized MB body shop. I had to replace my entire bumper as well as some of the side skirting that holds it in place and it cost me around $1100.00 which included paint and labor.
