Still waiting...

Just wondering if anybody has ever ordered anything off of modbargains.com. I know this is a legitimate site a little over a month ago I bought a pair of forgestar f14s off of their site. Since they had to be custom made, the rep that has been constantly helping me sinc emy purchase said it would take about 6-8 weeks. I was not in too much of a rush so I was fine with that.

About 4-5 weeks in I called to check up on them and they said it would take even longer for the f14s. More like another month atleast. I told them I couldn't wait and switched my order to mrr gt-1's in hyper silver over a week ago. They had it in stock and said it would take a week or so to get to my door and nothing yet. I emailed them to see if they shipped and nothing... I'm growing impatient and this is getting kinda ridiculous.

Anybody have any experience with them? Sorry for the long story but I need some advice lol. Thanks!

And by no means am I trying to say that ModBargains is a bad site, but... just wondering if anybody knows anything. And I actually do really need the wheels now because both my right rims are bent and are constantly leaking air. I have to bring them somewhere to get refilled every week or so and it's getting kinda old...

Not surprised on the forgestars. There are stories all over the net; including on here.
Now in regards to that bargain place. Maybe that's why they are a bargain.

call them? emails can get ignored, but surprise cold calling can get you to the right person. And of course, demand tracking number right then and there if they say it's shipped.

I wouldbe careful if you paid by credit card. There is a limit of 60 days with Amex to dispute a charge. I nearly got burned on a large purchase. Buyer beware. Just call them and get some real concrete answers

Yeah.. I was really looking forward to the forgestars but ehh I dunno now. MRRs are hot too lol. And I know, I was a bit weary about ordering from there at first but they are pretty official. They had good prices so that was a plus haha

I've actually been talking to them every week or so starting from when that forgestar order had to be switched. I talk to Kevin there and he's actually a lot of help. Just sometimes he doesn't give me the answers I need to know lol but I just talked to them before and he said that I should have information on the order status by the end of the day... Hopefully

LOL yeah I got a little worried and actually checked my billing statement when it came in a few weeks ago. Nothing so I'm sure it's fine. Like I said, I hopefully will get an answer by tonight

Nahh, I didn't use PayPal. I usually do but my dad told me to just do a normal credit transaction. Definately not as safe but I don't think I'll need to get my money back anyways.

Forgestars through modbargains are not available for at the very least 8 weeks and they have no clue when another container will get shipped.

How do you know that? They told me originally 6-8 weeks and I was fine with that. It wasn't til a week and a half ago that they said even longer lol. And they also have no eta for the barrels neither.

Forgot to mention... said they would call back today and they didn't. Still don't have my shipping status -_-

Nice man, I was looking at the same size. Looks like I will have to wait at least 2 months. I just wish my drop was a little lower. I 'm hoping it settles some more.

But anyhow I LOVE my car so far. The dynamic handling package is nice cuz the ride is so firm but not stiff. I can't decide it I want to go 19's or 18's yet though so I'm interested in seeing how the 18's will look. Are you dropped at all?

If you but them at the end of the season like August/September they are MUCH cheaper than when you buy them at the beginning of the season like April/May/June
