A can of VHT Hood, Bumper and Trim paint would do a good job if you never plan on going back to stock.

Any body shop can do it. If you're a DIY, search the forum, there's a thread on how to.

I wouldn't worry about lease. It's a minor mod that most dealerships won't trip. If they do, you can always just buy a new grille for like $150 or swap with another member. If you really are scared, then just vinyl wrap it so you can rip the vinyl off when you return.

If you want to "spray" it I have seen an item that sprays on black and feels like rubber and when you don't want it anymore you just peel it off. I will try to look up the name for you.

Otherwise if you want a whole new grille, I love the 1 fin SL look just like Normandie has. It could be found on ebay

It's Plasti-Dip. Buy it in hardware stores like Home Depot or Lowes. Spray it right, or it'll come out with a fuzzy texture. I don't recommend masking with this stuff, it's stretchy and tears easily.

Vinyl wrapping
Pro: If you ever get a chip, you can replace just that section.
Con: Vinyl wrapping is very tedious, especially dealing with the bent-corners, such as near the star.

I have tried vinyl wrapping and then just decided to paint it.

my recommendation, DO NOT paint it, only because your car is a lease. i called mercedes and they said a black grill is not okay to turn in, and they will charge you around #$350 to replace the grill with a stock one if you don't do it yourself. just buy a blacked out grill from ebay or vinyl.
