C350 - Multimedia iPod equalizer settings

I have a 2009 C350 with every package on it. My iPod sounds horrible. I have all the bass, treble and logic 7 set correctly.

What equalizer settings do I need to do on the iPod itself?

Please help!

Thank you,

Michael

Michael, the bad sound quality may be the result of many things, such as where you get your music from. If you buy your music online and it still sounds bad, then you can move onto the car as being the problem. Note that the AUX cable does not transmit bass through into the speakers, so you are hearing music that is worse than if you burned a CD.

Also note that there is a navigation firmware update (though not all service advisors admit there being one, including mine) that adds a AUX Boost setting to the AUX menu. It increases the sound output so that you dont have to turn up the volume in AUX mode, and then back down when listening to other sources.

hope this helps
