are the ballast 35w or 55w? which cars are known to have 55w ballast stock?

I believe 37w is from the factory... Aftermarket has 55w kits.

From my experience, all factory HID are 35w, and not 55w.

i use 55w and i love it and i just added 70w yellow bulbs as my fogs

Spec_Davis: How long ago did you do the mod? I don't want to do a Full DDM kit, but was looking to get a bit more output from my lights. I know the stock ones are 55W, are you experiencing any burning or melting of the housing with 70w?
