Car stalled in reverse gear

Car stalled in reverse gear
Hi. Have been lurking this forum for several years and learned a lot about this car. Finally took delivery of a 2010 C350 4Matic w/ premium package & rear view camera last month. Apart from minor issue like a skipping wiper, car has been running great.
But yesterday, when I put the car into reverse gear to back into my garage, the car stalled. The gas pedal & gear selector didn't work. I didn't paid attention to the rpm but it seemed the engine was cut-off. Also, all the lights on the dash came on. But there was no warning sound or message. I had to completely turn off, exit (my car has keyless go) and restart the car to get it going again.
Has anyone seen this issue before? Should I bring it back to dealer or wait and see if it happens again?

That's the first I've heard of this.
Problem is that if the problem isn't repeatable, it'll be very hard for the dealer to find out what happened.....unless it recorded a code when it happened.
I don't know if I'd bother unless it happened again.

this is like what happened to my car yesterday i posted the story in a thread, this is weird o.O MB is on a plaagueee ! imo just get it checked out though because you were fortunate to be home just reversing the car, i was on an expressway, but had no traffic thankfully. so yeah good luck !
