Little tip on there gas tank is

Many people, and myself, we sometimes drive a friends/familys or retal car and need to fill up gas.
Drive to a gas station and have no clue whether gas tank is on driver side or passenger side.
This is a tip I found on internet which could help on this situation.

If you take a close look at the gas gauge, there is a little arrow which shows the direction where gas tank is.

And if you don't have an arrow, most European cars fuel on their right hand side, Asian cars on the left and I think the US is kind of a mixed bag.
I was in Madrid a couple weeks ago and saw something new...a mini gas station right on the side of the road...you actually stay in the lane of traffic and pull up to the pump right on the edge of the sidewalk, fuel up and pull away...was a little unnerving thinking someone wouldn't notice you there and plough into you while refueling...wouldn't do it with a left hand fueling car!!!

Truth be told, if the arrow were pointing to the tanks, it would point straight down since the tanks are under the car ahead of the rear axle. The arrow points to the fuel filler's location.

There are numerous conventions in use:
1) Arrow next to pump symbol
2) Placement of hose on pump symbol
3) Placement of pump symbol in IC
4) Then there are older cars that confuse you by not following any kind of convention
